How To Use This Site

We have tried to address the most common questions you might have while using our site. If for any reason you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to email us--we want you to feel comfortable with how to use our site.

Your right to copy
Because mincymedia is an exclusively online music publishing company, there are some differences in the way we conduct business.  Once you have purchased a piece of our music, you have the right to make as many copies of the piece as you wish for your ministry.  You can make 3 copies or 300, make copies for your church choir while a school choir has copies of the same piece--it makes no difference to us--you've bought the piece. And by the way, be sure to save the original download file in a safe place on your computer so if your copies start getting old and tattered you can just make more!  Our only condition is that all copies must be for your ministry only.  Please support us both morally and financially in this request.

Viewing and downloading
In order to open, view, and download our music files you will need to have Adobe's Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. Acrobat Reader, available as a free download, is a program that lets you view, navigate, and print Adobe PDF files (Portable Document Format) on all major computer platforms. If your computer is just three or four years old, it is likely that you already have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. Version 7.0.5 is the most current, and we recommend you download and use the most current version.

Listening
You will still need a media player in order to listen to our CD audio samples (but not our choir music...it will play using a player we have embedded in the website itself). You probably already have one installed on your computer. If you don't, you can click on either of the two links below to download the player of your choice. The Windows Media Player and the RealOne Media Player are the two most common in use today and there is a free version available for both.

Making your music look professional
We would suggest taking your original copy (single 8.5X11 inch sheets) and using 11X17 inch paper to produce a booklet.  This can be done fairly simply by laying your original 8.5X11 sheets side by side on a copy machine through which you are running 11X17 paper. The trickiest part of this process is making sure to put the correct pair of pages from the original on the copier each time so that when you are ready to assemble and fold the pages into booklet form, your pages end up in the proper sequence. Obviously, this format requires that most of the pages be run through the copier twice. After doing this a few times, you will become very proficient at it.  We have included a cover with each piece for your convenience.  It would be advisable to leave the reverse side of the cover page blank to avoid bleed-through.
