How To Use This Site

I have tried to address the most common questions you might have while using this site. If for any reason you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to email ( or call (919-457-2125) me–I want you to feel comfortable with how to use the site!

When you purchase a piece of music from mincymedia, you are purchasing digital files (PDFs, mp3s, etc.) that you can download, save to your hard drive, and print (listen to, burn to a CD, etc.) at any time.  Since we want to be able to provide arrangements of well-known music that is copyrighted (like “In Christ Alone” by Keith Getty/Stuart Townend), we needed a way to protect the interests of these copyright holder’s. So, here is what happens when you purchase a piece of music from mincymedia:

1) You purchase the piece(s) of music from mincymedia and pay using PayPal (or a visa through PayPal).

2) We receive your order, customize the copyright information for the piece(s) you have purchased (e.g., this music is licensed to “Bob Smith” or “Calvary Bible Church” for up to “six [6]” copies), and email you all the appropriate files.  We make every effort to turn orders around immediately.  You will always have your order within twenty-four (24) hours of purchase. If you don’t, something has gone wrong. Please email ( or call me (919-457-2125).

The price of a piece of music will always include the ability to make enough copies for the anticipated group.  So, for example, a piano solo would be priced and licensed for one person, whereas a piano duet would be priced and licensed anticipating the need to make two copies. There may be situations in which you desire to make more copies…say, for instance, in cases where you might buy a vocal trio but intend to use more singers (maybe using a “double trio”, for example).  In this scenario, you should simply update the “quantity ordered” (in your shopping cart) to match your desired number of copies (so in the given case of a “double” vocal trio [in which we would anticipate needing to make four copies–1 for the pianist, 3 for the vocalists], you would simply change your order quantity to “2”. Please email ( or call me (919-457-2125) with any questions.  It is not our desire for this to be confusing.

In order to open, view, and download mincymedia sheet music files you will need to have Adobe’s Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. Acrobat Reader, a free download, is a program that lets you view, navigate, and print Adobe PDF files (Portable Document Format) on all major computer platforms. If your computer is just three or four years old, it is likely that you already have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. We recommend, however, that you download and use the most current version.
Once you have purchase a piece(s) of sheet music, we will customize the copyright information and email your downloadable file(s).  Again, these are PDF documents and will require Adobe’s Acrobat Reader. Please be sure to save your music files on your hard drive (or other storage device) for future use.  If for some reason you experience any trouble (or do not receive an email with your files), please email or call me and I will be happy to assist you.

mincymedia has teamed up with PayPal to make it convenient for you to purchase our sheet music on-line. PayPal is a free, easy, and secure way to make online purchases. And don’t worry–if you don’t currently have a PayPal account, you will have the option to create an account during the mincymedia purchase process. PayPal will also allow you to purchase our music with a Credit or Debit Card–without having to open an account. Here’s how: Once you have added everything you intend to purchase to the Paypal shopping cart, click “checkout” (as opposed to “check out with PayPal”). Then, look towards the BOTTOM of the page that comes next. There, you should see a bold link that says “Don’t have a PayPal account?”. Clicking on the this link will bring you to a page that will allow you to pay via Credit or Debit Card. If you prefer, you can visit PayPal now to open an account now or get more information.

I hope that listening to our music is one of the EASIEST things to do on this site.  The mincymedia website does NOT require that you have ANY external players or software (like Windows Media or Quicktime)…just click the “play” control beside any piece! Keep in mind, patience is a virtue…seriously, give it a second to load before madly clicking a bunch more times. :-/

A final word of advice…this site was designed and tested in Microsoft Explorer.  So, while the aim is to be multi-browser compliant, if you are having trouble with anything about this site–and are using Firefox, Chrome, etc.–you might try loading the site in Explorer and see if this solves your problem.

We would suggest taking your original copy (single 8.5X11 inch sheets) and using 11X17 inch paper to produce a booklet.  This can be done fairly simply by laying your original 8.5X11 sheets side by side on a copy machine through which you are running 11X17 paper. The trickiest part of this process is making sure to put the correct pair of pages from the original on the copier each time so that when you are ready to assemble and fold the pages into booklet form, your pages end up in the proper sequence. Obviously, this format requires that most of the pages be run through the copier twice. After doing this a few times, you will become very proficient at it.  For your convenience, I have included a cover with some pieces. It would be advisable to leave the reverse side of the cover page blank to avoid bleed-through.
